These boats are not difficult to build but are time consuming. Just consider it a hobby and take your time.I bought the plans at www.compumarine.com

If I remember right, without digging the plans out, Their was provision for a centerboard trunk and 4 or 5 different sail plans. The gaff rig looked the best to me but I ended up deciding later that I just wanted to row it.
