Just got back from New Orleans. You may recall I was asking the board for any ideas on getting out on the Gulf or Lake Ponchartrain during my 1 week stay in the “Big Easy”. Although sport fishing info was plentiful, nothing was found on chartering, bare boat sailing or sailboat rentals. So I basically resigned myself to having to sample the numerous restaurants for diversions and things to do. While trekking through the French Quarter, we discovered info on an 80 foot topsail schooner, that had just started taking on customers. The Jolly Rover II turned out to be the highlight of our trip. A truly great crew and memorable experience. Fair Winds. Todd Frye
