Can anyone recommend some good lakes in Arizona or Nevada for cruising? Being in the NW, I'm itching for some warm water sailing and warm breezes. Any good websites for this inquiry?

There's a forum member by the name of azexploder who operates in that neck of the desert and seems to have a good handle on what you're asking about.....

Keep coming west. San Diego is not far from Arizona. You can sail with the Mission Bay fleet or rent a C250 for $45/hr.

RH,

I sail on Lake Pleasant, a ~10,000 acre lake NW of Phoenix. If you're looking to rent something, the Sailboat Shop used to have a couple boats here -- I'm not sure if they still do. It's prime sailing season here now, so c'mon down! See www.sailaz.com. Also see http://ww1.azmarinas.com/PleasantHarbor/.
