I am trying to insert a photo which is going okay except that I have been unable to make the photo large enough for anyone to see the detail about which I would like to ask a question on the forum.
You've linked to the URL for the thumbnail. Left click the thumbnail so the larger version is brought up, then right click to properties and copy the URL.

J.B. got it right ... you simply need to copy the URL for the full-sized photo, not the thumbnail. Since you use Shutterfly, you'll notice that the end of the URL changes from "2010" to "1610" ... here is the full-sized version of your photo:
So very simple and obvious now. I never thought about the thumbnail. I thought it was great when I did my signature and the photo came up the right size. Now I will be able to post my photos.
I will have some more to post soon as the boatyard promises to start my swing to wing conversion this afternoon. (same story for more than a week now)
I'm looking forward to seeing the pictures of your conversion, as the work progresses.
I tried posting a picture the other day, actually three and a difficult time getting it work right, but after a while I read Don Lucier's instructions, a previous post, and everything worked out.

Hi Don,
Work finally started yesterday. The boatyard says that now Moonglade is on the lift, she will stay there until the keel is in place. Pretty scary up in the trunk when the swinger was removed. Now I know for sure why Moonglade was leaking. I will post pictures later today.

I have noticed that a lot of people using Windows PC have white space around their pictures. It often makes their actual pictures smaller and less legible than if the picture were taking up all of the space. Being a Mac guy it is just natural for me to work a picture over in PhotoShop and all of my pictures are "full sized". Could you walk the Windows people through cropping their photos with what ever POS Windows comes with? I have wondered if some of them paste pictures into Word and then somehow use the word doc., that would explain the white space. As an aside, the screen resolution of a computer is +-72dpi so any picture with a resolution greater than that is wasting space if it is to be viewed only on a computer screen. Since most picture hosting is space limited then uploading as small a picture as possible has its advantages,(file size, not picture dimensions). As before, if you could walk people through resizing the dimensions and resolution of jpegs on Windows machines it would probably help a lot.
