Continuing to plant reasons to sail Cheney for the nationals... This is an easy 45 minutes from the slips for those who don't sleep well on their boat. http://homepage.mac.com/fhopper/PhotoAlbum23.html
<BLOCKQUOTE id=quote><font size=1 face="Verdana, Arial, Helvetica" id=quote>quote:<hr height=1 noshade id=quote> Here I go again with another stupid question.
What was the purpose, and results of your "rudder study"?
I was trying to contribute to the 250 people. They have rudder problems and I was suggesting that there may be som existing rudders out there that they could use unntil Catalina gets its act to gether and developes the 4th or 5th generation rudder for those people. It must look like some fetish if you have not seen my posts on the 250 forum. One of the goals was to show some kick-up heads that could be fabricated from sheet metal and use some of their busted rudders, ie the S2 rudders. The ODay rudders looked like they could be made to fit very easily, and so on. Thanks for visiting the pages and thanks for asking.

Thanks. I am not a photographer by any stretch of the imagination. However I am very pleased with the pictures that I now take, I think a digital camera allows people to take pictures so easily that they get more good pictures. My camera is a Fuji 2.1 megapixel and with the memory card in it it can hold well over a hundred pictures so you find yourself just shooting instead of counting pictures left on the roll. Since I bought the boat it is with me most of the time, I really love all sailboats and there is always something to take a picture of when I'm around them.
Thanks for visiting the site and posting a reply, what did you think of the boat house?
So what problems do 250's have with their rudders that 25's don't? Is there a difference between the WB 250's and WK 250's as far as rudders go? Just curious.

Personally, I think it's a bit silly due to its location (i.e, Chichita) and completely ostentatious. Of course, I was on Charles and David's payroll for three years.
However, I know that my Great Aunt Skeets (Winkler) thought it was the cat's meow. Of course, she was a good friend and drinking buddy with Bill and Fred.

Wow! If we get the races here I sure hope you come up. I did not know any one outside of the New York art scene was one of Fred's drinking buddies! All Wichitans know why Bill gave us the boat and it was wonderful timing because of the river beautification project and the rebuilding of the boat house. The ploy did not work and Charles won the case. Someday the movie of that family will amaze the world. We here in Wichita owe a great deal to Charles and David and it takes more than a leftover toy to impress us. BUT, it is a very cool leftover toy!

You better believe I'll be there. <BLOCKQUOTE id=quote><font size=1 face="Verdana, Arial, Helvetica" id=quote>quote:<hr height=1 noshade id=quote> Someday the movie of that family will <b>amaze</b> the world. <hr height=1 noshade id=quote></BLOCKQUOTE id=quote></font id=quote><font face="Verdana, Arial, Helvetica" size=2 id=quote> IMHO, "disgust" would be a more appropriate adverb. (That is an adverb, right? English was, and is, my worst subject.) <BLOCKQUOTE id=quote><font size=1 face="Verdana, Arial, Helvetica" id=quote>quote:<hr height=1 noshade id=quote> BUT, it is a very cool leftover toy! <hr height=1 noshade id=quote></BLOCKQUOTE id=quote></font id=quote><font face="Verdana, Arial, Helvetica" size=2 id=quote> No arguing with that.
