I have a 1996 250 WB. The table can be erected either in the cabin or in the cockpit. But there doesn't seem to be a desiganted place for stowage of the table when not in use.
Not sure about the water ballast table but on the c250 wing keel the table can be stored in the v-berth storage area. This is a factory storage design it sits right under the v-berth storage boards.
That is the correct storage location, however mine stores much better in my cellar. Check out mod's to that oversize, hard to handle, hard to store table. Some beautiful modifications have been done to replace the factory table. You should be able to search this website and see the mod's done to replace the table. "Bear" on Brandy C250 WB
My C25 (1981--traditional layout) has a similar issue. There is provision for storage of the table (against the portside bulkhead), but it is so heavy (Foprmica-topped Aspenite) that it balances beautifully the weight of the 4-stroke motor which is hung on the starboard transom! This winter "Wood Duck" will acquire a lightweight teak or mahogany table with a lip that stows in its current location and uses the existing hardware. I believe there are some examples of these tables in the Tech Tips section.
My 1997 wk also has the factory storage design under the v-berth. However, the table has a combing around it that doesn't allow it to fit flush in the v-berth recess. I intend to follow Bear's lead and stow it in my basement as soon as I make a smaller replacement.
