Check out this video on OFF CENTER HARBOR.COM I think you'll like it...

Worldwide Classic Boat Show Presentation - Tom Cunliffe & Traditional Boats of Northern Europe

https://www.offcenterharbor.com/videos/worldwide-classic-boat-show-presentation-tom-cunliffe-traditional-boats-northern-europe/

Quote by Tom Cunliffe during a recent presentation at "OFF CENTER HARBOR.COM"

"The pure beauty of it, to see a wonderful boat sailing and see a wave curling along it side exactly how the vernacular builders intended it to do and be part of that is the glorious thing to hold the tiller and to know that the strength of your arm is converting the flying air through the medium of the rigging and the mast, the keel and the all important rudder into a forward motion, what a miracle, an absolute miracle and that catharsis is taking place through you, you that was created in the image of God. And there you are... that's what it is all about for me"...

Somehow Tom’s YouTube channel appeared in my feed recently. His storytelling and perspective were unique and amusing.

It appears that he’s using the Vimeo player on his subscription site, The picture quality is much better than that delivered by YouTube’s encoder and Vimeo’s content doesn’t automatically include advertising.

I agree. Always like Tom's pointers in Sail magazine -- never heard him before this but he is excellent.
