I have a 250 WK. We love the boat, but the going is tight around the wheel in the aft cockpit. Is it possible to replace the large wheel with a smaller one? Anyone looked at this? What size can I go to?

Edson sells a range of wheels as small as 18":

You may have a different setup, but my 250 Mk II had a 1" tapered shaft with a 24" wheel.

For me, seeing the prices of these wheels was the last straw in deciding to convert to tiller-steering. :) If I could do it over, I think I'd try the 20" wheel before giving up on it.
