Wondering if anyone knows what to do with old sails. I assume they should be disposed of correctly. Thanks for any suggestions. I am located in the Ct and Long Island area.

If they are at all usable you could post them on your local Craigslist for free. Your trash could be someone's treasure Or someone who is just looking for sailcloth to make a project.

Curious: how bad are your sails? It may be that you should keep them as a back-up if something happens to your "good" sails you can at least continue until new are ordered/received. Equally, some on the foum may want to buy older sails for back-up.

Thanks for asking, I sent my old headsail to a fellow forum Cat 25 owner. He needed a sail while he shopped around for a new one. I purchased my new sail from The Sail Warehouse and am very pleased with it.
