Hey all. I'm looking to replace all the canvas covers on my 250. The bimini cover looks sort of custom with the backstay cutouts and zipper. The companionway cover replacement from Catalina Direct seems excessive at $280. Because I'm in Arkansas I don't think there are any companies near by that work on this sort of thing. Does anyone have any thoughts on this? Are there companies that if you send them the existing items they can replicate them? Haven't done this before.
I have had the companion way, and the sail cover replaced, and worked on. Both done by a local tent and awning co. Yes, it was about the same price. But it was loco, and I could give them a sample of just what I wanted, and they modified as I liked. Good luck, but this worked for me.
Hi Searags, I’d have to guess with the very popular boating scene up at Lake of the Ozarks there might be a boat canvas shop somewhere near there. I used GoogleMaps, zoomed in on Lake of Ozarks and checked for boat canvas shops. There are about a dozen in the area. Might not be close by, but you have your choice.
