Hello All, We are new to Catalina and recently purchased C25 TR, SK. Upon inspecting the mast before stepping, we noticed a crack clear through one of two bridges on top of the truck. The other bridge is showing signs of wear. According to Catalina Direct, these are no longer manufactured and they no longer have a supply. Looking for a replacement or work around. Suggestions welcomed. Many thanks! Kevin Walsh

Bad news... Worst case, this could be an application for JB Weld. Its reputation for repairing cracks in metal castings, including engine blocks, is pretty good.

I just noticed where this post was... The "Information for First Time Users" forum and "Testing Forum" within it are for introduction to this place and experimenting with things like posting photos, and not generally followed by our regular participants. I'd suggest re-posting this topic in the Catalina 25 Specific forum.
The General Sailing forum is for subjects that are not model-specific (C-25 vs C-250 vs Capri 25), and always interesting... The mast-head casting is model-specific.
And welcome, Kevin--congratulations, and hope to see you over there.
