I used to post links to articles showing the title of the article instead of the long unruly URL. I have tried every trick I know, and I haven't been able to get it to work. Does anyone know how to do that?

I noticed that the "Forum Code" is ON, and HTML is OFF. I suspect that has something to do with it, because all attempts at using HTML code have failed.

If anyone can point me in the right direction I'd really appreciate it ... thanks!

Thanks, John! That's what I needed. I bookmarked that page for future reference ... 'didn't know it was there.

I still had some trouble with the URL. I am guessing it's because Sail Magazine's "SailFeed" is for paying subscribers ... ??? Anyway, I Googled the article and found it in a different place:

Your welcome.
I usually have to try a couple of times. Seems copying and pasting will add a space after the = sign and that will mess things up.
But for the most part it a neater way to share url's in our posts.
