After dropping the keel inspecting the weldments in the hull recesses I see there have been screws inserted into the fiberglass next to each weldment. This apparently is an old owner mod as i have not seen this before. (PO not available) Opinions please I will not hold anyone responsible. I am inclined to leave them as is because they seem secure. Questions: 1. Does anyone know if this was a recommended fix or reinforcement or know any thing about this mod? 2. The weldments seems secure and solid as is, and I cannot see any rebuild or repair of the keel trunk from below, but from top under the seat it could be the whole trunk head area has been worked on as the paint appears different. I know any work on these would be a monumental, job Should I leave well enough alone? The screw slots can be seen in the pic. Thanks jmc
