Dave,
What are the rules when dealing with someone like this? is it legit to erase them and block them from future postings? or should we just erase the post?, or can we get a moderator to tweak the link so it doesn't work? I wonder how many people have clicked on the link?

We normally don't edit posts for sailing related items.
This case is the exception.

Here are the reasons for this action.
The original website has been removed.
On further research, this website is located in France.
They might have fine products, but this forum user is suspect.

The forum user has been locked
Here are the details:
1) The forum user registered today
2) The forum user only has an email address in their profile
3) Their first post links to a website
4) There was a complaint from a member regarding this user
5) Further research indicates the forum user is located in Africa
6) This post has been moved from the General forum to the Complaint forum
