Just watched the video, no screecher. Is your speed gauge broken? I never saw it move off of zero?
We looked at one a couple of years ago, but we'd have had to sell the house to buy it. We took it out into a snow storm to demonstrate to Rita how stable it was. We got pounded a bit while we were close into shore, but once we got away from shore, it smoothed out nicely, even in the blowing snow and maybe 5' swells.
I would love to find one of these to retire onto. Rita is not very thrilled with that idea.

Couldn't think of a better boat to move up to - what a beauty! I wish you and yours the best of luck, fair winds and favorable currents! And don't be a stranger - this forum is made better by your observations, posts and experience!

But I think I'm going to be very busy for the next several months....... The to-do list for the new boat is growing quickly......

Yepper... see ya in about 7 years
That is a lovely boat... Please don't hesitate to post in the admiralty... Love the see images from that boat and hear about it.
It's a shame Dave doesn't post more about that beautiful boat he has, but I imagine it's only because it simply runs all the time without any maintenance
Those projects are a real inspiration, especially when I hafta redo a project that went south. My front "dead light" ( the hole in the middle of the deck ) is Still leaking... I think I'm gonna fill that thing with resin!
I like your list of bridge information, especially for that area, where there are so many bridges to deal with. It's a good idea to have that info handy, where you don't have to hunt for it each time you come to a bridge.
Your video brings back great memories. For years we took our vacations sailing from the St. Pete area south to Charlotte Harbor, stopping at Punta Gorda, Burnt Store Marina, South Seas Plantation, Cabbage Key, Useppa Island and Boca Grande, and then returning north to St. Pete, stopping at Marina Jack's, Venice and elsewhere along the way. You have a great cruising area! One of our favorite places was a Greek Restaurant on Anna Maria Island, just north of the last bascule bridge in your video. I know the restaurant has changed ownership, but hope it's still there. They had a lovely, but tiny harbor.

For example, that last bridge is Manatee Ave. But don't dare call it that.... That bridge is the Anna Maria Bridge....
