Can you change my avater to just "member" or something. It currently says "deckhand".

The "Deckhand" title is based on the number of posts.
You have 15 posts so your "Title" is a calculated value.
You will notice other users have different titles, based on their posts.
The title calculation is the default method for all users.

There is an override feature, when titles can be hardcoded (like Mainsheet Editor, etc).
I hardcoded your title to "Member".
This is not something I normally like to do, because there are over 1000 forum users.

This is a techy answer, because someone else will ask the same question in the future and I can point them to this answer.
