When I saw the new emblems under the names, I discovered that I hadn't renewed my membership this year. Shame on me! I just made the payment. Mea Culpa, mea culpa, mea maxima culpa.

Can I stop being a guest contributor now? Please?

John,

Thank you for renewing.
There was a short-term test that was implemented to show each member's status.
The test is over and original statuses now display.

There is some additional setup that needs to be done.
We will have an announcement about this change in a few days.

I renewed this year as always -- <i>however</i> my emblem indicates that I'm a guest! How can this be so? I have my cancelled check from last February!

Bruce, you are correct, and during the latest tests your emblem (burgee ) indicates 'Association Member', I'm still ironing out a few mini buggys but the latest test shows things are looking good.

We are not leaving the test active all the time as it spurs questions when the burgees are incorrect.

Russ will be making an announcement shortly. Then we go live !

I had been away a few days and only recently noticed the text field under the burgee. Seems like it blends in so perfectly. I think that'll probably drive membership more than any other approach so far. And, of course, complaints!
