I like it! Looks like maybe oak faced plywood & stainless bimini fittings?

Very nicely done... won't interfere with anything and it'll be fun to ride on the bow

That is a very nice seat but those fitting are spendy. We have a link somewhere here to a SS guy with great prices. I will have to look him up.

Sean, Rats, I couldn't find anything at www.marinepartdepot.com that matched exactly. Closest had 2 holes, not 3. Guess I will have to keep searching. My butt is getting pretty sore from sitting on the bow pulpit. Speaking of, I will probably need a cushion for your seat. And your setup would certainly make it safer while taking pics of my crew like this:<center>

PS This might make a nice story for our Mainsheet if you are interested.

well the bracket is for a pulpit eye ..
so the two small holes are to hold the bracket in place .

but to get the seat close as possable , i left out the two small scews and just used the larger hole .
l used 2" screws to get them threded ..then cut them close to the nut

www.marinepartdepot.com is a great sight too !!

Great mod! Looks like your in a pretty wide open area on your mooring. You must get some big weather. You must also have some pretty dedicated bow riders!

its protected from all angles but that one , south wind i think .
theres also a sand bar that blocks the rollers , but high tide lets them in .
that day was hight tide .

ill add a 1/4 inch chain (through a float)
from the bow eye to the mooring for a storm ..
