I purchased the 1980 some years back in Florida and sailed it in Galveston Bay. The original jib sail was included in the sale, packaged in a yellow bag. I believe it to be unused as the original owner opted for a roller furling when he purchased the boat.

I've since sold the boat but recently found the bag and sail. If anyone is interested, contact me and we can agree on a price.

What size, is this a 100% jib, made by Catalina? Or is it something else?

Hi Alex. I'm almost certain that this sail is from the Catalina factory. It was the original sail that came with the boat when the first owner purchased it. He told me that he opted for the roller furling and never used this sail. But, I would need to take a look at it and try to get the details for you. I have no idea if it is 100%. If Catalina supplied a particular size on the '80 model, maybe someone here would know the size. Thanks for inquiring.

If you could measure the LP that would answer what size it is.

Without knowing what it is I can only make a pretty low offer...

The best measurement that I could come up for the "LP" is approximately 11'.

The manufacturer is Schurr.

I'm pretty sure that is a 110% jib. The full dimensions can be found in the Catalina 25 manual:
27'8" luff, 24'10" leech, 12'10" foot. The LP that I have written down for one is 11'3".

Any idea of what you'd like to get for it? Are there hanks on it, or can you take a photo of the luff?
