For all you Long Island Sound sailors, and fellow NYers and New Englanders, here comes a sail boat show to our humble Milford Harbor. Dates are Friday - Sunday May 18-20.

Please see the link here

Our local sailing magazine, Windcheck Long Island Sound is spearheading the confab and our local US Power Squadron group will be presenting boating safety and paddling safety courses and will promote our Vessel Safety Checks.

The following vendors and organizations are planning to attend:
Brands
• Cutwater, Prestige Yacht Sales
• Catalina, Hellier Yachts
• Hanse, Sound Sailing Center
• Jeanneau, Hellier Yachts
• Island Packet, Hellier Yacht
• Hunter, Secure Your Dream/Springline Yacht Sales
• Lagoon, Sound Yachting
• Beneteau, Prestige Yacht Sales
• J Boats, Tait Yachts
• X-Yachts, Rodgers Yacht Sales
• Minor Offshore, Skarne Marine
• Nordic Tug, Wilde Yachts
• Ranger Tug, Wilde Yachts
• North Pacific Yachts

On-Shore Vendors:
• Boat Name Gear
• Connecticut Department of Energy & Environmental Protection
• CT Sea Scouts
• Milford Sail & Power Squadron {this is my group}
• Neil Pryde Sailmakers
• North Sails
• West Marine
• Seabreeze Boats
• Sutton Sail Repair {my newfound sail repair guy)

Our main goals are to provide boating safety courses and to promote membership in our group. C'mon down. We're looking forward to seeing you!

And there's the Essex Spring Boat Show (power and sail) this weekend... I might stop there Friday on my way across the state.

Nice! Sounds like a great turn-out. I'm surprised Defender won't be at the CT boat show, since they are based there.

Look for my colleagues and I at the US Power Squadron booth.
We'll be doing a new member day, boating safety course promotions and Vessel Safety Checks. If you're interested in a VSC (save on insurance and avoid a DEP ticket) stop by and make a reservation with Hank C or me.
