Defender's big annual warehouse sale begins Thursday 3/29--Wed. afternoon on-line and by phone, and runs through Sunday. No codes, no nuttin--just 10% (or more) off their prices for everything. I'll be there, battling the other thousand shopping carts... It's a scene!

I've seen several threads about people getting new outboards, gas tanks, etc. Defender has a fuel line on sale right now for $7.00, including the fittings. It's on close-out: http://www.defender.com/product.jsp?path=-1|311|302335|314209&id=1558846
You have an 89, which should have the same compartment as mine. I managed to fit two Interstate group 29's in there, but it was tight, and I verified the measurments before purchase. They were 13" long each, but may have been more like 12.875". The battery box could fit slightly more than 26" of length.
