Does anyone know if the two transom mounted stern pulpit stanchions are thru'bolted or tapped into a metal plate? Need to do some glass repair under the port forward one, and will probably need to undo the transom one on the port side.

Tapped into a metal plate (or nut plate). Had mine off last year.
