Lexan, yuck, don't you know that stuff leaches BPA? Now, if we only knew 2-part epoxy is one half BPA one half amine hardener. Hardener gets the bad wrap because you'll eventually develop allergies causing acute histamine response, but the BPA isn't so great either.
To remove marine sealant (5200 is a piece of cake). Both formulas clean up with water or alcohol:
Marine Formula. Comes quickly via USPS. Aerosol spray and is quick acting.
Mostenbocker's Silicone Latex Caulk and Foam Sealant Remover. (foam sealants are polyurethane, just like 5200) Most hardware stores stock it. Slower acting viscous formula.
Again, certain polymerized bonds are broken, so gloves, Lexan/polycarbonates, and cured 2-part epoxies are attacked. Acrylics like Plexiglass are not.

Thanks. I have a can of the Marine Formula that the manufacturer sent me for free to see if it will take off the Dow 795. He had not heard of Dow 795 so I told him I'd give him a report on it.
I used goof off the pro strength. yellow can. Scrape with razor, apply goof off, then scrape again. Time consuming, but no scratches if you are careful with the razor.
