I'm very surprised that the keel came in at 2,300 lbs. In the brochure, the fin keel ballast is listed as 1,900, so 2,000 would not have way off, but 2,300? Maybe the keel stub accounts for some of the difference.

Agreed! I was surprised at how quickly blades got dulled. The last few blades were even carbide, and they dulled quicker than I thought.

Also surprised at 2300 lbs especially since I left just enough fiberglass attached to keep the thing upright and not fall over and kill me. There really wasn't much fiberglass left if you look at the pictures. Of course you should have seen the puzzled look on the face of the guy running the scale at the scrap yard. They are used to old cars and pickup trucks full of fridges and old grills coming through the gate. After they used the big crane to pick up the keel and set it down they used the giant claw to smash it a few times. I'm assuming to ensure that it was actuallly solid metal.

I certainly made a profit off the boat. There of course was a PITA factor though. I'm about 50/50 as to weather I would do it again. Getting shipping quotes and shipping big bulky items are a pain, as well as the several people who said they wanted things and then just disappeared. Once the hull is fully disposed of I'm going to start a new thread with the remaining parts, employing a slightly differnent sale method.

Yup for all 6 windows. Can you please send me private message with your email? Thanks

I am interested in the wood trim on the shelves on the port and starboard side of the cabin. I have a 1988 C25 and hope they will fit. Wife likes the little spindles that our boat does not have.
Hey guys, I should have that coaming aroudn as well as the wood trip for the shelves. It's going to be a few weeks though as I just took possession of my new home over the weekend, so my current priority is moving out of my former rental home. Sales from this boat certainly helped me come up with the down payment on my first home.
