I do have the whole vanity still. I'm still not sure which parts that would include though. I have someone within driving distance possibly coming for the bow pulpit. I just sent him an email. I'm looking to get $100 for it since brand new ones are $400. Shipping of course would be extra. Where are you located?

I'm almost certain I have that. I pulled off most of the teak before winter set in and stored it inside. I labeled most of what I took off. Let me see what condition it is in. Where are you located?

I have a couple of questions for you. Was it worth it? Did you make enough to cover or at least defray the cost of a boat you can actually sail? If so, have you purchased it yet? Would you do it again? <hr height="1" noshade id="quote"></font id="quote"></blockquote id="quote">
Well I still have lots off stuff to part out. Some of it's my fault for not being willing to dig into this boat in the dead of winter, but I've also had many people tell me they want things...we exchange emails agreeing on prices and then I never hear from them again. I had the main sail "sold" and the guy was waiting until after the Thanksgiving holiday to send me the check. I had it all boxed up and ready to ship sitting in my living room. Well I just moved that box to the basement the other day...no check ever arrived and now he wont respond to emails. I've had a lot of people flake out on stuff and it kind of kills my motivation, but I push on.
There have also been many people who have come thorough with payment for which I ship promptly and I haven't received a single complaint about anything I've shipped. I even shipped the friggin' rudder to California. Getting that ready for shipping took me over and hour.
As far as profit, I've done pretty well. I bought the boat and trailer for $400....and I sold the cushions for $600, so you tell me...haha.
As far as making enough money to buy another boat, I'd say that I have. However, as many can attest sometimes things in life change and they have for me. I still love sailing and always will but buying a c-25 in the immediate future is likely not going to happen. Before xmas my GF and I broke up and she moved out. We were renting a fairly pricey house. For two people is was fine, but now I'm footing the whole bill. This has motivated me to clean up my credit and put every penny I can towards a down payment on a house. I will be a first time home owner. I still have plenty to sell off this boat and that money will go towards the same purpose.
The light at the end of the tunnel is the fact that the price range of houses I'm looking at will put my PITI at approx 60-75% of what I'm currently paying in rent. That will free up some boat money in the next few years. Also she was from the Cleveland area and had some slip connections and the intention was to keep it somewhere up there. That connection is now gone and while there are some reservoirs near me that have a few c-25's on them it's really not worth the trouble of putting such a big boat in a such small bodies of water.
I think I'm going to sail my current 17' boat for another summer right now, and think about bigger boats down the road.
Would I do it again? Sure, but I would do a few things differently.

If I don't hear about the pulpit in a few days then it's your's! Shipping might be tricky, but we'll figure something out.
In regards to the vanity stuff. I understand what you mean with the sink and the door, but I guess I'm not quite sure what you mean with the actual vanity. Is it just the horizontal surface that the sink mounts into, or is it the vertical surface that the door attaches to....or both?
I need both. The horizontal piece that the sink mounts to and the vertical piece that the door attaches to. I also need the door and and sink. I would imagine that the horizontal piece and vertical piece can be "unattached" for shipping. I would like to wait to see if the pulpit guys responds and I will just send you a money order for the all of the stuff or if you prefer, paypal. I can be emailed directly at br1548@hotmail.com rather than to go back and forth on this.

Ok, I should be able to pull that stuff out of the boat over the weekend. I have the weekend off and the weather is finally suppose to be decent. I technically just emailed him yesterday with prices, etc. I will hopefully hear a yes or no from him soon. I'll keep you updated.
Thanks. Please email me your address/payment preference for the items. br1548@hotmail.com is my email. Do you want to wait until Monday to hear back from the potential pulpit buyer? If he does not respond I would include payment for the pulpit also.

Just wanted to see if you were able to pull the vanity off the boat over the weekend. I can send a money order for the items tomorrow (to include pulpit if the other guys doesn't respond) directly to you or if your prefer another method. Just advise. Thanks, Brad

I heard from the guy last evening finall. He has plans to come to my place sometime on Wed afternoon. It's not 100% that he will buy the pulpit. I think he's trying to use it on another boat, maybe a Hunter. He plans to take measurements and buy it if it will fit his needs. I will keep you updated.
In regards to payment I'm fine with a money order. Paypal works for me as well and offers a little more security, but I would also expect the approx 4.5% they charge as well.

As far as the stitching and structure of it everything seems pretty good. Someone before asked me if it was blown out and to be honest I don't really know how to tell. Scroll through the pages of this thread and you can find a photo or two of it. Sorry if that isn't much help.
