You need a bow eye for trailering, not only for positioning the boat on recovery, but for securing the boat for over-the-road. CD has a kit that includes a backing block or you can gather the parts yourself, but you need a substantial backing block to distribute the load.
Assuming the boat will be lifted onto the trailer, until you get the bow eye installed, use the bow cleats to secure the bow to the trailer. Better than nothing at all. If you are going to pull it out on the trailer, be sure to secure the bow using the cleats, AND take a 50 ft line, tie the mid-point to the trailer winch stand,run each tail back to the sheet winches and crank in on both making the lines tight.
