When we purchased JD in 2005, it was not long after that the Pedestal canvas cover snuck off to a new home along the highway.

I finally got around to making a new 'hood' for the pedestal. It covers the top of the pedestal guardrail, the Pod with the depth indicator and the compass.



It's shaped to the pedestal guard.


The hood has a line running through the lower hem and is secured with a reef knot around the wheel shaft.



I know that a seamstress would do a much better job, but it works
