I recently bought a c250 #581 and love it, but I have a question about my sail #.

Below my sail # it has a K and I have seen others with that and others without. What does the K stand for WK maybe?

Yep. The water ballast version was the only version in the early production of the boat then they added the wing keel and put the "K" on the sail to differentiate.

So what'd they put on for the fin keel? (Yup--there is one.)

I thought the K stood for Kolb.

John, using that logic, the Water Ballast being a Centerboard as is often jabbed my way, dp should the C250 Water Ballast have a 'C' under the 250, or a 'B', or perhaps it's blank as there is no 'Keel'

Or maybe, in the words of Bob Bitchin, the "K" is for kewl!

JB, what is your sail number, mine is 410, also a '99, with a K for kewl on the original sail!

This man's 250 mainsail has a K which I thought stood for either Kaptivating, Kook or Kaptain.
