I bought this same unit (18w) from woot last winter for $99. So far it seems to be doing what I want it to do. I leave it set up while I'm away and it seems to keep the battery charged up so it is ready to go when I get to the dock. If we go out for the weekend we stuff it in the quarter berth out of the way. If we have company we just leave it in the car. It is too big to permanently mount.

When the item was shipped it showed up smashed. It must have been dropped. The plastic frame was cracked and the class was shattered (NOT safety glass). Woot shipped a replacement after I shipped the broken one back.

We have a single battery and run only basic instruments and a stereo. It keeps up with our usage.
