Hi Friends,

It looks like my 89 wing is sold already. I have a verbal commitment, even an offer for a check today, but we'll do it next week.

This is an incredible association and all of the officers and members past and present get a big thanks for all of your help and support given to me.

You are all invited onto "Molto Bene" ("very nice" or "very good" in Italian) for a cool beverage.

Too bad Frank Butler doesn't make them like that (89 wing) anymore.

Frank,

You may be sailing off into the sunset, literally, but we'll remember you and the help you've given others!

And we'll just pay it forward.

Happy sailing.

Enjoy the boat, Frank, and drop in for a visit on occasion, to let us know about your adventures. We'll miss you!

I won't be retiring for about 5 years. Of course since I'm a health care provider, I may decide to quit pulling the wagon and will jump on the wagon instead if they try to cut my reimbursements too much.
My plan then will be to motor down the tennessee river to the Gulf, sail to the islands and catch fish and drink cheap rum.
In the meantime continue to live below my means and save some bucks and hope they don't get confiscated.

The new buyer is taking the basic US Sailing basic keelboat class being taught to our club. Then I'll give hime some lessons on his new boat. He has already studied all about the 89 wings on this site. You guys have helped me sell it.

Best wishes Frank! When you enter the Gulf and point her towards Tampa Bay, remember to give me a call and "the crew" and I will gear up for logistical support (that means more than 4 beers).

Also, just let us know who this "they" is and we'll fire off a mean letter or something

Hey Frank
whatcha been up to? What boats do you have now?

My fleet is down to 5 boats now: Ericson 32, whitewater kayak, 2 sailboards and a dingy.

a man can't have too many boats
