Thirty-five sailors are interviewed throughout the program. All 17 boats that took part are also featured in this one hour presentation.
Host Gary Jobson takes you onboard America’s Cup winners Intrepid, Courageous and Freedom as well as the “Plastics Fantastics” KZ 3 and KZ 7, Easterner and US 61.
Watch what it is like to race with America’s Cup winners Russell Coutts and Bill Koch who share the same cockpit aboard KZ 7.
Twelve Metres get better with age. This documentary demonstrates that this historic class is alive and well.

One year racing J-35's (yes it was a long time ago) we raced in the fleet with the classic 12 meters off Newport. On the up wind leg to the finish we were starboard and Columbia was on port. She took our stern by 10 yards. Our entire crew stopped racing, turned around and stared. It was like a freight train going by.
