Will try this again hope I am in the correct forum. I worked on my trailer a while back and forgot how the bunks go on. I have a trailer with four roller bunks. One set sits higher then the other, my question is does the higher sitting bunks go on the rear or on the front. Trailer brand unknow at this time but I have a 1990 c25 with a wing keel. Will be pulling the boat out this weekend for the winter. I can take any help I can get.
If you have a separate roller for the bow, I'm going to speculate that the lower bunks go amidships, and the higher ones astern (where the hull is shallower). Don't you have a registration for the trailer that specifies the make?
Mitch, What you might consider is having the boat pulled at a yard, while it's in the slings, you can set the bunks at the right levels. When I pulled my San Juan 21 several years ago, that's what I did (I'd never once had it on the trailer). The yard guys adjusted the bunks for me and generally were very helpful.
