Lucky!! A friend's entire house was destroyed by water, including her late mother's wonderful artwork in the basement that filled to about 4' deep. All sheet rock had to come out (the entire house--walls and ceilings) and all hardwood flooring. All cabintry and furniture was wrecked or, for some antiques, needed extensive restoration. Marble in her bathroom was cracked from twisting joists and studs. I saw the mess before she did--she was in FL at the time. I guess houses aren't like boats--they can't shrug off a little water running into the bilge!
