From Craigslist - Not Mine

We bought this boat back at the end of April not knowing how to sail, but thinking we would learn. Well, we haven't learned yet and will not have the time to learn anytime soon so we need to sell our sailboat as it just sitting behind our house not getting any use. It seems to be in reasonably good condition and we were told that it had bottom paint shortly before we bought it. It has a 4' draft and a 33' bridge clearance. Sails are in good shape. We are sad to sell this boat, but we ended up with too many behind our house and we don't have the room to keep or the time and money to maintain them all. All reasonable offers considered as we would like to sell ASAP. Please reply via email or call Carl at 954-295-8151. Thanks for your time.

So we can deduce it's a standard rig/fin keel... not much else.

Not mine either. The craigslist ad says it is a 1978 boat and it shows 3 pics: dinette model, no pop-top, looks like the starboard bulkheads (both)have been replaced or at least painted, and throwable pfd seat cushions at the dinette booth. Other cushions recovered. Table top replaced, bulkhead separating dinette and galley also replaced or just painted. Colors are cheery! Nothing about condition of sails. They are asking $3,900. That's a little bit more than SR/FK but not much.

I wonder if purchased by one of our members, the association could get a commission!

I just called the guy (Carl) he is in my neck of the woods.
Didn't know about our assoc, so I gave him the scoop and suggested he hang out here in case he doesn't sell it.
It's a Fin Keel and has a Nissan 9.8hp outboard.

Hopefully Carl will chime in with some more info. My bet is that had he known about our Assoc previously then he would have gotten the usual great deal of help from the support team (you lot!) here.
