Just got the latest Mainsheet in the mail, has a great article from Bill Meinert about 3 C-25's sailing around & to a couple islands on Lake Michigan, written by a teenager. great read!

I too agree, an excellent read. received my Mainsheet and both my 16 year old son and I have read it. My son asks "why don't we do a 10 day cruise . . .?" I commented to him "why do teenage boys always remember the restaurants they have been too . . . ?" A great read and a great reminder especially at Thanksgiving that cruising with family is the best.
I somehow end up mentioning this fond memory about once a year but my parents sailed us from Charlevoix, Mi to Beaver Island for a week when I was 5 or 6 yrs old so when I saw the article it lit that up in me. It was the best childhood vacation I ever had.
