If you use google chrome, then make the association an application on your desktop, you'll get a 'chromless' browser that makes the most of the site. One of the really nice features in Chrome, (beats IE F11!)

In chrome, click 'Current Page Control' top right corner, then click 'create application shortcut' and select desktop as the location. When done, you'll have a shortcut to the assoc site directly from your desktop without the address bar and other options.
lots of realestate.

If you open the back button you find 'http;/pagead2.googlesyndication.com/cp.....'. When you click the back button that address goes away.

I see the same URL in the history tab. No harm but annoying.
Anyone know what "googlesyndication.com" is?

I found this but it is Greek to me.
http://www.robtex.com/dns/pagead2.googlesyndication.com.html

Any ideas?

The association has the potential to earn $$ from google ads.

All I know is that this is the only site that I visit that requires the 2 click back/forward. And the other sites have ads too.

Mike: You should only click once on Post New Reply...

If Google Ads is the culprit, it's interesting that the problem doesn't exist in Google Chrome.

It still happens to me every time I visit this site. And it still is the only one that I have this issue with.

Also... sorry about all my replies. I know to hit reply only once, so something I did must have put in all the replies. I will delete all but one.

I have disabled the advertising on the forum pages in order to eliminate the double go back click requirement.

If you find that the double click is still required, please post specifics.

Thanks.

Yep same here, it went away. Not sure why the ads would be causing it because I am a member of other forums that have ads and they have no problem. Wouldn't want to reduce the revenue that comes from them either.

I no longer have to double click to go back one page. Please put it back like it was. I became accustomed to double clicking and now I go back too many pages.
