If you use google chrome, then make the association an application on your desktop, you'll get a 'chromless' browser that makes the most of the site. One of the really nice features in Chrome, (beats IE F11!)
In chrome, click 'Current Page Control' top right corner, then click 'create application shortcut' and select desktop as the location. When done, you'll have a shortcut to the assoc site directly from your desktop without the address bar and other options. lots of realestate.

I see the same URL in the history tab. No harm but annoying. Anyone know what "googlesyndication.com" is?
Yep same here, it went away. Not sure why the ads would be causing it because I am a member of other forums that have ads and they have no problem. Wouldn't want to reduce the revenue that comes from them either.
I no longer have to double click to go back one page. Please put it back like it was. I became accustomed to double clicking and now I go back too many pages.
