Any pics yet of your bimini installation? I'd like to order one and want to be sure that your dimensions (46" H x 72" L x 85"-90" W.) worked for you. Also, I assume you mounted it on the out side of the coaming aft of the "step"??? I want to put it on a track there.
Did you choose "Deck" mounted or "Side" mounted since that location has a bit of a slope to it. I'm thinking "Deck"

I will get you guys pictures this week, sorry for not doing it sooner. Yes those bimini dimensions worked for me and I mounted it on the outside of the coamings 29" aft of the step. At this position the bimini covers the catbird seats, but an adult cannot sit in them since it's too low hence the need for the bimini butler. The problem is really finding the correct zipper placement, and the fact that my single backstay doesn't point up straight to the sky makes it difficult to find the perfect zipper placement in raised and down position.
Sorry I don't understand what you mean by "Deck" or "Side" mounted. I mounted the bimini on the Hull to Deck lip outside of the coamings.
In conclusion you can go ahead and order your bimini, but just be aware that passing the backstay through it is the big issue in this project. My bimini came with a boot. So I had to have sown a series of zippers in a reverse T formation to accomodate the backstay.
