Go to their website and do more research. Is it three stage? Does it support wet and gel? Can you use it as as 12 volt house supply on the boat without burning it up? How hot does it get? How is it fused?

That's one of the problems, could not find a web page on them. I did find limited info from a couple of dealers. I read that Charles makes them, but nothing on their site. This is why I was asking if anyone knew anything about them. The lack of info leads me to stay away.

I don't blame you for looking for more info - there is not nearly enough information on that web page. I am suspicious that you could get a decent "smart" charger that allows simultaneous use of the 12V system for that price.

When things seem to good to be true.....

Also, although they are spendier, I love the way WM takes things back. Our Xantrex charger died about 6 months after we bought it and WM took it back no questions asked. To me that is worth $$.

Hi Paul,
Decided to stay away from the DYTEK. Instead I picked up a new Promariner Prosport 20 Plus off e-bay very cheap!

I've about got everything needed to complete the shore power project, only now I don't have the time to work on it. Have been very busy getting our house ready to sell. Also pulling permits to build the new house and dock in NC.

I'll have a extra(transit)slip when your ready to take a trip to the Pamlico Sound area.

Cool! Which comes first? The new slip or the new house?
