Okay, we are in the first blizzard of the winter. I have been in the garage working on my boat. Okay, I don't have a garage big enough for my C25. I am at the final stages of a complete rehab of a Force 5 sailboat.

I thought that posting some warm pictures might help get through winter.

Please add your pic that will help those of us in the north!!!

It's 37 degrees here in Daytona this morning, so I'm dreaming of warmer stuff too!

Thanks, It's still a little tight if you've got your hands full Frank, but doable

Going back to Maui to get away from 2 weeks of this non-sailing frigitity. Here's a picture of a guy that sailed from San Fran to Lahaina Maui unscathed, until he got to Lahaina harbour that is.

The water is warm and clear there, and you can see coral heads just before you hit them.

Nice warm weather sailing photos. Oh I can't wait for that weather to come back!
Chris, your teak looks great! What kind of finish did you use?

Here are two of my photos from a weekend cruise to the Maryland Eastern shore last summer:

I'm out in the desert right now, Tucson, AZ for business and the weather is beautiful! Mid-high 60s and sunny during the day. Too bad I can't sail!

Just remember every International Association Member is invited to go sailing with me any time they are in San Diego. Here is a shot of Gary at the helm during the New Years Day race a couple of years ago. I'm doing it again this year.

Jim... How long did you hold that position with that big sled?

I went out with Jim... Nice trip from Mission Bay down to San Diego Bay... Bring the beer and an extinguisher.

We saw Staghound once or twice that day - we did one lap on the racecourse, they did 2 plus ran down all the way down to south bay.

We held the position in that photo about 30 seconds.

Justin,

I used seikkens natural teak. I really think the key to the look was the work done in stripping, sanding and bleaching the wood before I finished it.
