I have not tried to light up the alcohol stove that came with the 1984 C-25 we bought last fall. I would prefer to remove it from the boat first but can't figure out how. Is there a secret trick to getting it out of the cabinet?

Wish I could remember more precisely... Mine was gimballed in a stainless box--it was easily removed from the box, and then a few screws allowed the box to be removed from the cabinet. I replaced it with a 2-burner Origo non-pressurized alcohol unit. Today, I'd have gone with a portable butane stove and used the galley space for something else.
