I just thought I would share some photos I took last night. This was one of my best sails ever; I just wish I could have shared the experience with others! I could not have asked for better weather for late November on the Chesapeake Bay. The winds started out at 10 knots the first hour, then increasing to 15-17 knots the rest of the sail with a temperature around 60F and mostly sunny. I was often sailing 5-6+ knots over ground, maxed at 7. I was having way too much fun out there! I have always wanted to take some photos as I sail into the sunset and yesterday was perfect!

I hope everyone has a great Thanksgiving!

Justin,
Beautiful photos and they give a sense of how great your sail was. Yes, we HAVE had nice weather on the (south) east coast last couple of weeks.
Thanks for your post.

Thanks, Justin. As I look out on my rainy, cold backyard, I appreciate your contribution! If I can figure out how, the top one will be my desktop. Just don't tell my grand-daughter.

NICE! I sailed yesterday too, but it was nothing like that.

I uploaded one of the several videos I took yesterday here on
Youtube. My video skills aren't the greatest, but I love watching my videos when I can't be out on the water. I have more, but I need to find a way to edit these quicktime files my camera creates.

John, if you or anyone else wants larger files for desktops you can go to my Webshots link, find those sunset images there at the end. Once you select the image there is a "Download" link on the right or "Full Size" link. You may have to have Webshots software to "Download", if you don't have that, then right clicking "Save as" on the full size image will give you a 1600x1200 image.

Thanks for posting the pics. Looks like it was an awesome sail.

I'd post pictures of my boat but I don't think you want to see a C25 stuck in a snow bank.
