I have a friend that just purchased a 250 winged keel with a wheel. He is suppose to go to Fla on Friday to pick it up and bring it back to Ga. on a trailer. I have a couple of questions I was hoping that someone could help me with.
First since this has a wheel instead of a tiller, is there anything special to getting the rudder off so you can use the mast crutch?
Do these boats usually come with a mast crutch?
This boat is a one owner boat that has never been on a trailer.
Is there anything that would be different from trailering a winged keel C25, which I have, compared to wing keel 250. I realize that the 250 will sit a little higher on the trailer, but is there anything else that might make the trip a little easier?

But then I'm used to seeing my fin... that to me is how a sailboat hull is supposed to look!
