I'll be taking the forum down this weekend for about an hour to perform some upgrades.

God willin and the creek don't rise we'll be upgraded with spell checking and better functionality upon return. I'll try and stop back to give you a more specific time.

Thanks,

duane

Soap Box time:

What is about to happen is happening because some volunteers are working for you. Several of us are in our last go around and there will be a need for people to fill the void. I hope that every time something like this happens it reminds you that your friends are working hard to make owning your 25' Catalina a better experience and make it worth more on the resale market. I hope that when it comes time to volunteer for office that many of you will offer to serve.

Frank - I hope you don't think that by my comments it isn't appreciated. I held office in our local remote control flying club for 3 years as a volunteer. I know how much work can go on behind the scene that many members take for granted.

Heavens no Mike. This is not the first nor will it be the last time I ask people to think about becoming an officer next year. It is part of my job and this seemed like an event that everyone could use as a chance to reflect on what they could do for the Association as an officer. I wish everyone could take a turn because everyone has something to contribute.

I'm shooting for about Noon EST. So everybody grab a big lunch, come on back to the forum and see the new stuff.

By the way - for the most part you aren't going to see Jack Diddly for upgrades - its mostly behind the scenes code that handles things differently.

I did find a collection of mods that I am investigating that might add a bit more fun to the forum - I might take a look at a few of those.
