What with the large number of extreme sports we Americans are involved in or invent, it's kind of odd that the trimaran hasn't caught on here. Pehaps it's the size and cost of the boats. Sure looks like fun though. The French are such macho people aren't they?

Frank, that's just not fair... here we are headed for a large ice storm this weekend ...and it includes you...and you had to go and post this It is absolutely some of the greatest sailing that I have ever seen...and the music on the first one is just right!!!! What an awesome video.

That guy on the kite board screaming along and then going "backwards".

Did I read that correctly, 30-31 knots? Looks like a lot of fun but at my age I'll have to stick to cruising. It is forecast 72 degrees here on Saturday - guess who's not working?
Never sailed during January before but who's complaining?

It has been a while since I have gone out sailboarding. Let me tell you, as soon as you get your board up on plane it is pure adrenaline for as long as you can hang on! That said, I don't think I have ever boarded as fast as these guys.
I wonder what happens when one of those trimarans pitch poles?

Thanks for the videos Frank. You have served us well.
I was just heading out to the gym and the adrenaline is now flowing fast and furious, should be a good workout. I'll redline the adrenals, and other glands whenever a nice spandex clad..........

Would someone lend me 1.9 million Euros and move me to France please? Did you see the size of the spectator crowd? Wonder if we could hold the 2008 Nationals in France, if nothing else just for the food and spectator growds!

I thought the 1st video the best. Nice intro and great shots, the 2nd was going on a bit.

You should see the peanut gallery at Black Point Marina in mid summer here! I have even thought of trying to sell them air horns or clackers!
