I could not find a reference in the archives for this topic:

Has anyone successfully used RV antifreeze in the ballast tank?

ya I think I bought it at walmart.

I put it straight into the line with a funnel.
after i disconnected it from the tank.
I seen somewhere its easer to flush out the line in the spring , instead of flushing the tank.

just leave the tank empty and what ever frezes will freeze upward .
it worked last year for me
