Today I finished with applying the barrier coat and have a question about the installion of the thru-hole fittings. Would it be better to install the fitting before applying the bottom paint or after.

Greg,

Install the thru-hull fittings before applying the antifouling paint. This allows the sealant to adhere to the permanent barrier coat rather than the somewhat temporary antifouling paint.
