I can't afford a new or custom cut drifter. In locating a used one, what is the best luff length, head to tack? Also, where can I find specific instructions on how to rig and fly it? Thanks.
you have to set the blocks up first , then measure your luff , minus a foot off that . and that is what size sail you need .
You rivet a eye to the mast ( 1` to 1.5 foot below the jib halyard ). hang a block .
put a block at the bottom next to the furrler. then you run your halyard and tack line where ever you want them. I ran them to the cockpit .
the sheets go to back of the boat I put blocks on the stern rail seats.
you have to set the blocks up first , then measure your luff , minus a foot off that . and that is what size sail you need . good luck Ill add more pics when I get them
