I got the track slides and the quick release fixture and got the grinding drilling and mounting complete. Now I am waiting on the Bimini. You said something nylon did not quite fit. Was it the track slide or the nylon pole end that goes into the quick release?
Right now the parts I have look identical to what you and Dave fabricated so I feel confident I am on the right track. The clearence of the nut looks good comparing it to the nylon track slide guides. I had to grind off a 1/4 inch of the screw.

Hi Pete, The nylon pieces that didn't fit well were the pole ends. It took a little sanding to get them to fit. Sounds like yours is coming along well. What color did you order for the fabric?
I ordered teal or Aqua green. That is the color if my boom cover which is brand new. I'd rather have a darker blue but figure when both age and wear out I will I'll replace them to match. the jib bag is yellow which is hidious and that will need replacing. Having two colors is bad I could not have tolerated three. I expect the top next week I'll keep you posted.
