I'm in need of new window coverings for My Prozac. Given I wore out all of my foul language sewing custom bedding for the vee berth this winter, I think I should leave window coverings up to the professionals. I see that Catalina Direct has some pleated shades for $299 for a set. Has anybody tried these? Any input would be appreciated.

I was thinking of cheap plastic mini blinds from Home Despot for about 15 bucks each times 4 for about 60 bucks.
Anybody tried that?

I hope not to be seen as a comic, B U T I've never used curtains preferring instead to hang bass plugs and fish hooks there; curtains would make a mess of things.

Pam,
I found these a while ago. They are for Catalinas. Still kind of pricey.

I have just installed a set from CatalinaOwners.com and they fit ALMOST perfectly (measure CAREFULLY). No piping, just plain white material, but they sure look better than the rotted things we took off! And for all the labor it takes to make the set, the price is fair.
