Thanks for the help. The pole is in the next picture when I get it bigger. Got too excited when I thought I had things worked out and jumped the gun or pushed the wrong key. I'm going to keep trying and reading. Just finished shoveling the snow off the pickup today, took pictures and then lost them in the computer. Must have spring fever.

This is it. Third try without losing the whole thing again. I get much pleasure from the post so hope this counts. Never did find the first picture with me by the pole so these are the new ones:
This is what I use during cruising as the pole is used as a gin pole to raise and lower the mast. Racing the pole is secured on the deck with lines attached.
